Some random plant swag
We’ve provided you with 3 different cuttings and 3 vessels for different propagation methods. One of your cuttings will be able to root directly in soil (nursery pot), one in damp sphagnum moss (paper pot) and one by water.
Part of the fun is figuring out what type of cuttings you have. There are tons of apps out there, some examples include:
Plant Identification ++
Also, the internet is a great resource if you use google and search “houseplants”. This can be a fun activity to do with your kids. They can match the cutting with pictures they see online. If you’re still having problems figuring out what they are, please reach out to us with pictures:

Once you’ve identified your plants, label them and then you can figure out how each of them is propagated (rooted). Once they have roots, you can figure out how to best care for them:
Amount of sunlight
Type of soil, etc.
