Colocasia esculenta is a gorgeous plant with dark leaves and pale green veins. Its bright green petioles add to its overall beauty. Easy to grow indoors, it's a fun and low-maintenance addition to any space.

In the fall, if indoor conditions are allowed to cool, this plant may experience dieback and lose its leaves. No problem!  You can cut the leaves off and allow the plant to go dormant until spring. During dormancy, reduce watering and stop fertilizing. It'll come back looking as gorgeous as ever.
