A type of Bromeliad, this Cryptanthus sp. (also known as an Earth Star) are a bit different because they are mostly terrestrial which makes them amazing as houseplants.  It is a low-maintenance, compact bromeliad that thrives in lower light conditions. Its unique, textured leaves feature alternating stripes of dark and light shades of green with an intense pink centre, creating a visually striking contrast.
