Disocactus anguliger
Disocactus anguliger
8" Hanging Basket
Otherwise known as the Zig Zag, Fishbone or Ricrac Cactus (for obvious reasons), this plant is so visually interesting that it would be a great addition to any room of your house as long as there is bright light.
Experience the unique growth of the Disocactus anguliger, with flattened and succulent stems that can grow to lengths of 1 - 1.5 feet. This spineless cactus also forms aerial roots, allowing it to spread, climb and thrive in its surroundings. The Zig Zag cactus blooms abundantly at a young age (starting when the plant is 3 years old), typically in late fall, producing 8-inch long tubes that open into cup-shaped white flowers with pale yellow or orange details. The flowers grow from tiny areoles at the base of the stem's teeth, making for a unique and beautiful sight.
