Why the weird name? This is a species that was grown in the lush botanical gardens of the Welsh Mountain Zoo (hence, WMZ) in the UK.

Foliage: The plant leaves are very red when first emerging and harden to a medium green with raised longitudinal ridges. Matures leaves will become very red when grown in strong light.

Flowers: Light pink petals, with light pink corona and a bright pink pollinarium centre (super pretty)
