Philodendron mexicanum is a versatile plant in the wild in that it can thrive on the ground or as an epiphyte on trees. Its large, dark green leaves with unique maroon undersides are not only a beautiful addition to any space, but also add a touch of color and texture. The leaves of the P. mexicanum are arrow-shaped with dog-eared lobes and, indoors they can grow to be 2 feet long and 1 foot wide.
