This species thrives in bright light, with some direct sun helping to enhance its colouring and compact form. Water deeply but infrequently, allowing the soil to dry out completely between waterings to prevent root rot. A fast-draining cactus or succulent mix is essential for success. It prefers low humidity and good airflow, making it well suited to typical indoor environments. With proper care, it may produce slender flower stalks with small, bell-shaped blooms during the growing season.
