Foliage:  The main attraction is its large, thick, leathery, and oval-shaped leaves. The leaves feature prominent, intricate dark green or black veins that contrast sharply against a lighter green background.  

Flowers: When mature, the plant produces clusters (umbels) of small, star-shaped flowers. The flowers are typically creamy white or pale yellow with a reddish or maroon corona. The blooms often have a distinct, pleasant scent, commonly described as smelling like cinnamon or honeysuckle.
